Training program in foot and ankle surgery and pathology for trauma surgeons and podiatrists. Structured across 7 thematic blocks — anatomy and biomechanics, forefoot, arch deformities, tendinopathies, arthrosis, fractures, and general foot and ankle pathology — with 21 modules taught by Dr. Manel Ballester and Dr. Gustavo Lucar.

What will you learn?

• Clinical examination and imaging tests of the foot and ankle
• Diagnosis and management of metatarsalgia and lesser toe pathology
• Treatment of hallux valgus, hallux rigidus, and sesamoiditis
• Approach to cavus foot and flat foot
• Diagnosis and treatment of tendinopathies (Achilles, peroneal, tibialis anterior, FHL) and plantar fasciitis
• Management of nerve, ligament, and osteochondral ankle injuries
• Treatment of midtarsal, subtalar, and ankle arthrosis
• Management of forefoot, midfoot, hindfoot, and ankle fractures
• Biological therapies: PRP, stem cells, and hyaluronic acid
• Diagnosis and treatment of diabetic foot and infections

Requirements

• Medical degree (trauma surgery) or podiatry qualification
• No additional equipment required; the course includes recordings and downloadable materials
